Planting a new Yew hedge for a lawn division & Seed sowing season has started for 2023

Good video and ur garden looks great even at this time of the year. I put in 60 meters of be h last year but u remind me I must replace a few plants that died. Planting in April was always risky with bare root

Thank you! Ahh yes cutting it tight in April to be honest with bare root, but hopefully it’s only a few, they’ll soon catch up

How is the Yew hedge these, Days did it take ok? I am debating putting in a yew hedge at the moment.

Out of 80 put in approximately 6 didn't make it, not much growth yet but I was expecting that as I know the first year they just sort of anchor themselves more so than grow, but still very happy with the progress & I will hopefully plug the gaps from the missing 6 if required but I over planted to allow for that so may not be required 🤞🏼
