Soleil, I absolutely love your version of what I call musical plants! My daughters have known my version, 'Musical Pants, for decades, or I would change it. Your Super Secret Leapfrog planting technique, aka, Musical Pants, isn't so secret anymore. It's a given at my house, that I will be moving plants and creating more planting space, where none previously existed at that location! I can tell that CHAD is one of your favorite shopping companions, and thanks to you, I now know what to call my constant companion! Lol! ~Margie

Thanks, I got those iron baskets at a mercantile shop in the upper peninsula. I got the birdhouse from someone locally and unfortunately don't know where they got the sign, but I liked it! Gotta have a good sense of humor for a the flubs in life! ☺🙃💚🌼

Now your secret leapfrog technique is no longer a secret! I love the new fact that it is worse to drink too deep for a new plant especially trees them to shallow. Thank you for that

If you leave the hosta in the pots do you put them in the ground overwinter or in the garage?
@Suburbanoasis3 жыл бұрын
I may just leave them as they are hardy to two zone below mine. I am in zone 5b and they are hardy to zone 3 so should be fine. 😀🌸🌿🌷
@erinjames40243 жыл бұрын
@@Suburbanoasis thank you for responding i want to do the hostas in pots too but worried they wouldnt come back. I have seen some gardeners dig a hole & put the pot right in the ground to ovee winter, assuming its not a big concrete one.

what do you use for your rabbit repel.. Put a bunch of new plants in my yard this year and the rabbits decided to desimate some new lilies I had.. more then half the leaves are eaten all the way to the stem.. They look like badly pruned christmas trees. :(
@Suburbanoasis3 жыл бұрын
Oh, Jodi, that is the worst! I use liquid fence. I buy it in concentrate because it is cheaper, but it is super stinky and then dries within a few hours. Dang critters are so cute but destructive! 😉🐇🌿
