Les in one of your video you show that your remove all the agar with water, but these were not rinse in water. Please explain is it due to the size? Or I can use both videos?

donna ford Just the size of them is too small to wash and would damage the protocorms

Thanks Les, I thought it might be the size. I can't wait to show you my first germination.

I've heard of people having difficulty with root growth in peat moss, have you ever experienced that?
@OrchidSpecies11 жыл бұрын
Certainly it's not a medium of choice for long term growing but for the purposes here it's just the ticket for a few months to get them going. 'Normal' Pleione potting medium would be a bit too open for these tiny seedlings to get established quickly. 'Normal' being fine bark, coarse bark, perlite, chopped sphagnum moss, chopped florist foam (the green one), seramis in various combinations depending on your preference
