Thanks, Corie. What a good reminder to choose humility and not be puffed up about what we think we know. It was also a good reminder to me that in talking with others, be careful not to hog the conversation, but let others speak. Ouch! And I constantly need to remember that God's strength is made perfect in our weakness. Things go so much better when we rely on Him instead of ourselves. I enjoyed planting garlic with you, Corie, and listening to you going over that Scripture passage. I think those verses have given hope and encouragement to so many. I love how the Holy Spirit spoke through Paul to write it so that anyone who would read those words would be uplifted. Our God is so loving and wants us to lean on Him for strength- not our own. My first was very typical delivery.I thought it was hard but I literally pushed once or twice.My 2nd was fast and difficult.She was shoulder dystocia and it’s very rare but is usually big babies.If I had her first,I would of probably not had more.Dont let it grip you.All births are different.

great to grow your own garlic. Most of it now comes from China which reportedly has a lot of soil pollution and food adulterating issues. Plus a lot of animals and bugs won't mess with it.

Corie, this is a message for me! I have been feeling a little down because of a "thorn in the flesh " I have been battling. Now I am reminded that even a strong man of God can battle things in their lives. Jesus is always there for us as we strive to be stronger in Him. The Bible says for us to " strive for perfection " , but in striving for that perfection, we will have battles and struggles. We will have weaknesses. But that doesn't make us sinners. Sin is deliberate. Weaknesses are thi gs that can make us stro ger as we STRIVE for that perfection. Does that make sense? I would love to have a Bible study with you!
