We have hurricanes here on the SC coast, but no winds that just pop up midday (and almost just as strong as a TS!) and then die away. Crazy that you have to deal with that all the time! Thank you for showing us. You had little warning....at least with hurricanes we have days to prepare.

Laura, I don't know about anyone else, but I can rarely hear ANY background noise (unless someone is mowing very close to you). I don't think you need to worry about it. You all correct me if that is not (or is also) your experience. I vote for no boxwoods down that lane. I think it looks clean and fresh!

wow... wind is so bad and scary.. we get winds like that a few times a year that we call Santa Ana or devil winds.. and yeah, if it's not tied down, it's gone.. but you seem to get them almost on a regular basis... poor Paul and that umbrella.. he wrestled it inside tho... so happy everything survived the winds and hopefully the plants that got bitten by the frost will flush back.. i love the green area by your kitchen walk, too.. i think the heucheras look better on the other side.. the green gives that area interest but also rest for the eye (who taught me that?? haha)... wow, quite an exciting couple of days!! 🥰❤thanks for the video!! 🥰❤
