When you two heard the admonition, "Do your own research," you really took it to heart! A garden is an investment of time, money, and hope, so it's worth doing right the first time, especially when it comes to the larger elements. Your thoughtful consideration in selecting not just the right trees, but the best mix of soil and enrichment will definitely pay off in years of deliciousness. And there's nothing more gratifying to a gardener than a bountiful table that is a testament to your efforts. Well done!

Hi David! We're happy that you understand and can appreciate the work and love that go into creating a happy garden! We're really excited to see what these trees yield this growing season! We just had to replace the avocado tree due to a rouge freeze we had when we were out of town and weren't able to cover it. All a blessing though as we prefer the new variety we planted :)

I love your garden and your enthusiasm for nature and organic materials. I too am an avid gardener and grow several organic veggies and herbs. Please keep the videos coming and I’d love a video tour of your front and back gardens. Best wishes from Australia 🇦🇺

Thank you for the kind message! Our garden is where we feel most connected to nature 💚. We have never done a garden tour video, but it might be time to do one! Thank you for the request and have a wonderful day. 😊

Hello neighbors. I’ll be planting several small trees in pots this year and researching best practices. Are you experiencing winter root rot and soil depletion? Grafting Dragon Fruit, IV Organics and The Graft Man have all adopted Gary’s Best Soil made with pete moss and inorganic material like sand. Regular composting and fertilizer on top provide the nutrients the plants need while preventing stated issues of root rot and soil depletion as the organic material breaks down around the roots.

It may benefit from the extra sun and not having to compete with the palm for resources such as water. We find that if you can find a large enough vessel, you can growth them really well and maintain their size to a more manageable one.

im happy i found your channel, i live in wesley chapel and am looking to fix up my front yard garden bed & add potted trees to the backyard. I was interested in banana & lime variety to be in pots - do you have a recommendation? 🙂 thank yoy

Hi neighbor! We aren't growing lime at our home at this moment. We have Meyer Lemon, M4 Mango Trees, and a grafted Avocado tree that I don't recall the variety at the moment. Thankfully we have ideal growing conditions for almost all citrus and banana plants. For banana we enjoy blue java!

These were purchased at our local ace hardware store, so we don't have a link, unfortunately. Hopefully you're able to find something similar enough that you love though!!
