I grow celosias also. They dry gorgeous for a dried floral arrangement. And speaking of drying my dehydrator is a Cosori and I love it. I believe Walmart or Amazon is where it was purchased.

@@ChicagoGardener it's hot in the 90s feels like a 100 luckily my plants are drought tolerant it hasn't rained much so far I water them every 2 day early morning.

Hi from Denver! Found your channel and love your garden! 😊 I've been gardening for years but mostly beds... we moved and now our deck is at our main level, so it'll be easier to keep up with vs. going down to the lawn. 🤪 I planted squash in my one garden bed downstairs. Herbs, flowers (trying zinnias!), and yellow pear tomatoes are on the deck. Can't wait to see how yours progresses! 🌻 Loved the blue suade flowers you planted last year... Since I'm newer to container gardening, do any of your plants keep for the next year, or do you fully replant? Thanks!

My raspberries and rhubarb come back each year even leaving them outside without any protection. I also had echinacea and rudbeckia come back! I bring hydrangeas and roses into the garage to overwinter because they didn’t late completely outside for me in winters past.

What potting soils did you not like for your outdoor pots and raised beds? I have had great luck with Coast of Maine's Bar Harbor blend but it's pricey when you have a lot pots and beds to fill. I've looked into Kelloggs container and raised bed mixes because they are almost half the price of Coast of Maine.

Vigoro is the brand I avoid bc I had a bad experience, but I know other people like it. I heard different batches come from different places.
