Oh my goodness. Aaron is such a trooper. Reminds me of my husband. He's such a trooper when I decide to buy a load of plants with huge root balls and I have him digging the holes. Little to no complaints. Kudos to those husbands helping their plant obsessed ladies out. 😂

I absolutely love the rusty patina on the arbour. What an incredibly beautiful structure. Thanks for posting the photo of the clematis climbing over the arbour. Looks magical. You were fortunate to ‘inherit’ that piece from the previous owner. Love how you didn’t correct Aaron for using the shears the wrong way. He did a great job. You must have humidity now as you’ve experienced quite a bit of rain. I live in Sydney, Australia and we have humidity for about six months of the year. I like the story you shared about the statue of the girl in that garden corner when you went on a tour. Lovely that you now own the place - the power of positive visualisation.

I love Guara. I’ve always had a problem with it not coming back until I used Biotone last year when I planted it. I’m happy to say that the ones I planted with the Biotone came back. The ones that I planted before I got my Biotone, did not come back. Will be buying more this year and definitely planting with the Biotone. Everything I planted using Biotone came back beautiful this year. It does make a difference for any home gardener wondering about spending the extra for it. I also noticed a petite Guara this year. Will be planting some of those this year. I love the whimsical and magical look of Guara in my beds. Thanks Y’all for another family fun video!!! ☀️💜🌸 PS - Humidity - Welcome to my world. It is always humid here in the summer in Tennessee. A pony tail in my hair is a must!!! Lol 😂

Guara is my FAVORITE flower - magical and whirling butterflies is a perfect name. It seems alive when there is a breeze. I had a butterfly garden (gone now) that was filled with all kinds of butterfly plants but Guara was always my favorite. They were upright! I have since planted two more - one pink and another deep pink and they sprawl - but they also root in and grow more. I didn't know there were perennial and annual ones. Here in 9a Florida (humid and hot) they all die back over winter then come back. I love how your seem to hover over that garden and could sit there to watch the show for hours.

Laura, you made me laugh when talking about the humidity there. 😂 Come down to south Louisiana and garden with me! Even though I’ve lived here most of my life, I start sweating the minute I walk out the door! I have to start with a hat so the band can keep the sweat out of my eyes! We could get you acclimated real quick, then you could tolerate that 45% humidity with ease. That’s a “feel good air” day for us since our humidity levels rarely get below 65% this time of year! 😂😂 Also, the guara grows wild here! I love it and have it all over in (and out) of my gardens, both the white and dark pink varieties. It’s so beautiful when we get a breeze! Thanks for sharing the boxwood trimming. I’ve got some I need to tackle, but it’s always last on the list. 😕. Hope y’all have a great weekend! Thanks again for this video! 🙌💚🌿🌳

I love Gahra. I discovered it’s beauty last year and just can’t get enough of it. It all comes back for me? I didn’t know there was an annual? Is that because of the zone difference? Welcome to my world lol! I live in the southeast where it gets very humid. I try to get all my garden chores done before 10:00am or wait until the evening right before sundown👍🏻

My favorite part of this video is when you speak about how the previous owners and the back story to why your planting it there. Makes it feel more special ❤️

Hi Laura, Aaron, Benjamin and Russel! That area will be so pretty when it fills in. Would you ever consider popping some, not a lot of, Allium in for more color? The boxwoods you and Aaron shaped look really pretty. Kudos to you both! Thank you for sharing!

I LOVE gaura. I have the Belleza dark pink. They are upright. So pretty, especially in the spring.
