I just love you. Your personality is infectious and makes me smile every time I watch you. I, too, don't have irrigation! And I was so excited to hear you're an old school waterer like me. It takes me over an hour to water all my plants🤭 I plant boxwood and cats pj's all over as well and have the traditional lambs ear that blooms, but I will definitely look for what you planted. I have a few garden sage planted and really enjoy the look of those next to my boxwood. . My philosophy in my garden is that I want low maintenance show stoppers. Thanks for this video as always.

Awesome concepts, tips and tricks. I use a catmint called Purrsian Blue. It has deep cobalt- blue flowers and has a wide but compact growth habit. The sturdy stems do not flop.

Have you ever seen Salvia Argentea , commonly called Salvia - Silver Sage 'Artemis'? It’s kind of a biennial. First year is absolutely huge, really fuzzy leaves. Second year is not so pretty leaves but very tall, white bloom spikes. Pollinator s love them as do hummingbirds. Got my seeds at Select Seeds and they are very easy to get started. I had 100% success on my seed starts. I think from now on I’ll cut them after the first year because I prefer them with just leaves.

Hi Kaleb! It is going to be spectacular!! Catmint is absolutely amazing. I plant them all around in the ground, but I also put them in wine barrels and overwinter them there, and they are massive! Zone 5, Missouri. I also put them in antique galvanized tubs and I am shocked at how well they do and how huge they get. Then I dig them out of the tubs in the winter, root prune them, and snuggle them in the ground under straw, and replant them in tubs in the spring. They continually amaze me. They literally grow to 2 to 3 feet tall, with full bloom for nearly 6 weeks in large containers. Thanks for all the gardening videos this spring! ☺️

They are cute, aren't they? They're to make sure his feet don't get too roughed up since he doesn't quite pick them up like he used to. His walking is so terrific for what his diagnosis was, so I'm super thankful. And the cute booties make him even more adorable!

I can't wait for it to fill in! That's the one hardest part about gardening - waiting for things to grow in. Give it two years and wow!

Hey there! I found you on FB and now discovered your videos here! I have enjoyed your garden tours. In another video you show the mt everest alliums in front on your porch. How long did it take those plants to get to that size? You inspired me to plant a row and I just ordered 20 bulbs!! I'm in NE Alabama, zone 7B. Thanks!

Love the Cats pajamas! Think I'll drive to Lowes in Coralville and hope they have some. I'm wondering if it Blooms to freezing zone 5.

I’m a zone 3/4 and my nepeta continues to bloom until frost. I also deadhead the blooms, so I think that helps.

I just stole some lambs ears from my backyard to fill in a spot out from. I find them really easy to root even cuttings. One question, how far back to you prune your cats pjs after the first bloom is done? Do you just cut the blooms or cut down to fresh growth? Sometimes my leaves get sort of speckled. I think it’s from some leaf hopper. A lot of my plants get those speckled leaves. Very frustrating.
@cangarden78332 жыл бұрын
I cut off just the bloom on my nepeta and leave the foliage. They just keep reblooming.
