Bulbs are my favorites! Slightly obsessed despite my Texas 8b locale. 😄 One more that you could add to your list that does well in the south are Leucojem Aestivum (Summer Snowflakes). They bloom late spring (late March- April for me) and I don't believe they need chilling. They can handle soil that is a little more damp better than other bulbs and can handle a bit of shade also. They also will naturalize.

+Dawn Mitchell oooo, I’ll go look them up! Thanks you!

Color Blends offers a pre-chill option. However, it is only for orders of certain bulbs, larger size order, and placed early enough in the season. Specific info. on ordering pre-chilled bulbs is on their website. Too late for this year but may help folks out next year.

I love your videos as I am also in zone 8a! I am going to attempt to grow some flowers to help my sister with her wedding bouquet and was hoping you could give me advice on which flowers to focus on! Her wedding will be beginning of June and she would love ranunculus, but is this realistic in Texas? If so, when should I start the corms? Thank you for any advice!! 🤗

+Heather Gleaton ranunculus are not my forte … June seems a little late as we have been experiencing hotter weather than usual for ranunculus … ranunculus are cool weather plants.

Hello from Dallas . Love your vedios . Only you tuber gardner from texas ❤️❤️❤️❤️. Please let us know which side of garden you’re planting. Dallas sun is hot and it makes a difference west wide vs east side for us . Keep making more vedios 👍❤️

+Shalini Paturi it’s the west side!! Nothing like Texas sun!
