🏡. My biggest problem is weed control . I have none ! I'm older now, so the heat gets to me . I'm up early but the weeds are even earlier . I love my little gardens . Perennials are such a restful mindset of color for me as they appear .The weather has changed many things for me these past couple of years . I really believed this would be the year of some success but blooms have yet come on my dwindling hydrangeas . Now , I have found my PH is much higher than I ever imagined and I'm sure this is where so many things have failed to thrive ! I thank you for your imagery of keeping with the JOY OF GARDENING ❤. It means so much to me moving forward *

I heard you say you like to push the envelope. Haha. Well, that is what a "Wyse" person does in this world. I love it! You are the best😂. (Our garden looks like a jungle this year, but it is producing great veggies.)

I literally just came in from my garden, wondering where I could move my too tall phlox! Haha. I love your design sense and I truly appreciate how much you share with us. You are a very generous teacher. Can’t wait for the next video! ❤️🌸

I have two planters just like the one you have that fern in. But they are smaller. I think they're Red Wing. I like to putter around (dead heading, examining , trimming etc) in the evening. It's so quiet and peaceful and cooler then I don't bust my butt doing it. I just roam the beds and pots and admire as I work. It's also a good time to take pics because then there isn't the glare of sun. Yes I take pics of my "babies". :-)

I was going to throw away my blue star fern as it was dying ( that’s what I thought ) but now I’m going to repot it after watching this video. Thanks a lot for this!

Hi from Il. Always watch your videos, everything you doinside or out is so informative. You explain in such detail, thank you for that. This video really helped me figure out if I should cut those dead Peonie blooms off now, then in the Autumn I will cut back quite heavily. Thanks for the most enjoyable & informative video. can't wait for your next one.

Oh how timely. I have a blue star fern that has lived in the same pot for a few years. It definitely needs repotting.

Thanks to you, I just went out to clean up my bushy peonies! I’ve never done this before in mid-summer as I always waited to cut them back hard in the autumn.

Kaleb, as you were clipping the seedheads off of the Itoh Peony, the thought popped into my head that you should try to propagate one from seed. That would be a fun experiment to film for KZbin ...what do you think? I always deadhead my peony plants, along with several other spring bloomers, this time of year. I think doing that really makes the garden look so much nicer. I'm still planting annuals and perennials in my garden and in planters, which is something I'll continue to do until late fall. I hope you aren't experiencing any of the 90 mph winds and large hail that is predicted for this evening. Stay safe. ~Margie 🦋💚🌞

Your edging around where you planted was neat & well done. Was this your own work or a landscapers? Just a thought. Happy planting!
