Today, the 11th, is my last 'official' frost date. I'll wait a few more weeks before I do any serious planting, just to be safe. However, in looking at the forecast, the lowest temp for the next 10 days will be in the mid 40s. On Monday I saw my first Hummingbird! Definitely made my day. Glad I put a couple of my feeders out early. They usually don't arrive until the last of April. Since they're smarter than we are, I'm thinking our real Spring is here. Fingers crossed. A frost would kill them. I've been growing sweet potato slips inside but can't plant them for several weeks. They need really warm temps. Hope you have a great potato harvest. I was way out of the eclipse path so it was just super cloudy and windy here. Thanks for sharing.

Oh how exciting you've had your first hummingbird visit of the year! Here's hoping the frosts won't come back and we'll be able to get our little plants out and growing really soon! Happy frost free day!

Hey friend, I blame the squirrels & chipmunks for digging up our garden. I planted potatoes for the first time this year, fingers crossed our potatoes harvest!
