It is a matter of simple fact Anthony weeds grow faster than anything else in the garden 😂. The council should know that and give a wee bit of leeway if your away. You have done a fab job already and they need to take that into account. Have a fab time away, Ali 🌞🇨🇦

If only vegetables grew as easy as weeds 😂. They should be alright with it just making sure so I don't worry while away. Thank you

The broad beans commonly have tons of those little black flies all over them, but the actual beans will be ok! I would guess at a fox also.

Thanks wasn't sure if the fly's would ruin the plant. I am going to have to set a camera trap up or something would love to see them

I seen loads the beginning of the year on my fruit trees but hardly any now. Plan for next year is trying to plant as many bee friendly stuff as I can also near the pond

Anthony my pumpkin has been outside for about 6 weeks now, i have had loads of flowers that just fell off BUT today i noticed a baby pumpkin, so i think you have time, if you can get some manure they grow very quickly in that. As for weeds, the weather we have had over the last 4 maybe even 5 month what else could the council expect. Green potatoes i bin, they are poisonous and any potatoes grown from them are more than likely the same. Check out my video from today, my sunflower for the challenge 😂😂At first i was gonna say your digging could be a rat but, the third digging you showed could possibly be fox paw prints, also the poo could be fox as it has beetles in it, fox eat beetles. Dont worry about the black flys on the broad beans, they wont harm them mate. Your spinach bolted so did every single one of my Caulis and Brocolli, i have just had to sow more. Great video mate, cheers for the update, last but not least< hope you have a great Birthday tomorrow 🎂🎉🎉🥳🥳

Hopefully I can have pumpkins for Halloween I have got manure just not very well rotted down. Council are twisty one of the plots next to mine has gave up by the looks of it so the might hound them. Thanks I will just bin the spuds. Trying to see where I fox would get in I did find a load of chicken feathers the other week had wondered where they came from. I am in the middle of watching your video I keep having to stop for house things 😂 thanks mate

Don't throw everything in the compost that is slightly damaged. You can still eat it. A waste of your effort. The nasturtium is also edible. You don't have to cut off what has grown too far. Just bend it to where it is allowed. This is also possible with pumpkins, just lead them the to the direction you want👍🌱🍀🌻

Thanks. Just used to having the perfect looking food from the shops that's a big problem. Havnt tried the nasturtiums yet will give them a go. Didn't think they would bend very good thanks. Hopefully my pumpkin gets to a size I need to move it about thanks

Saw the fox comment and may well be but another one to consider is badger especially if you have woods nearby. A friend of mine has a lot of trouble with badgers digging up her stuff. Also mich will dig Bean and pea seeds out and eat them. Maybe try starting them off in modules next year to plant out. They lose interest once the plants are a bit bigger!

@@barbarabond5460 it's could be there is a lot of wildlife around here fox badger moles and deer (I see one every morning before work). I think that will be the plan for next year and start a lot more in modules thanks
