Is the light sitting on top of the glass? Or did you remove the glass panel? I love this, and would like to try… but my struggle is with the grow light.

The light is just sitting on the top. The light shines through the acrylic panels. Theoretically you could use any light source, I built the box to prevent "light spill" into the room.

Do you find that it keeps the moisture trapped inside? I heard from others that the lid on this thing doesn't close all the way.

It is true, there is a significant gap at the top of the lid. I spray every other day and humidity stays around 80%. If I have to leave for few days, I tape around the lid. This keeps humidity high but the window is covered with condensate (which is never the case if the gap on the top is open).
