what the heck! I am getting a lot of comments about how like half of these are broken! Someone had them open in the store and soooo many were broken xD Yes, the yellow is cute but I really wanted the bigger black one you have, but it is not available here :D I will try to have a friend bring it over from Germany, let's hope it does not come broken lol

Miro, I love that you have begonia content on your channel. I started with Hoyas and added in orchids & begonias- love begonias. I've had lots of luck with mine and have a maculata that is over 5ft tall and almost as wide- in over a yr. Btw, yes, the begonia terrarium is very cute. 🪴

Begonias are stunning. I unfortunately have zero luck with them. I have no cabinets, never have. My plants just aclimate or die. It may seem extreme, but it is how I chose to embrace my hobby. I lose very few plants. Truthfully, a couple of Begonia & Calathea, of course! All my Philodendron & many Hoya types are very happy. I love this video Miro!!

I appreciate that you are talking about begonias. I am thinking about trying them out. Past experience had me just killing them all. 😮 But I feel brave/crazy enough to try again. 😂 I have kept a begonia maculata alive, but I feel like they are self-sufficient. Perhaps my Detolf cabinet will become the " begonia cabinet." So please share more about begonias!! 😊

I have begonias in an aquarium converted into a terrarium. I put moss in the bottom of mine to hold some of the moisture for creating humidity. I have small fans, and a metal grid against the back wall that I have clipped on a small orchid, air plants, and small staghorn ferns. I also put in a crocatum to climb the grid. I think the IKEA greenhouse is very cute but to small and I am not so hot on the plastic windows. I also have a cleopatra begonia, amphioxious, rajah and others that would already be to big for such a small greenhouse. Even though I have been trying to purchase small plants, they all grow and actually look nicer when they do get fuller. I watch Plant with Roos, and she was my inspiration, but Miro I would also enjoy a follow up on this video from you.

Love the honest review. I’ve thought about these for my kitchen table as one of my cats thinks she needs to munch any plants I put there. Maybe I can get lucky enough to get a broken one so I get two for the price of one too. 😂

I have one no scratches on mine but maybe I was just lucky and mine is white definitely don’t need to worry about air flow but it does look cute

Ooh that B. julau, gorgeous. I always get Hortlust seeing the round leaf begonias with the burgundy and silver leaves, or the spiral leaves (B. ‘escargot’)…perhaps I’ll try them again in an old aquarium. Enjoyed this video, thank you! 🌱💚

Hi Miro 💫First of all, your nails look nicely manicured 😊 I have the next size up and luckily I bought mine from the store and opened it there and it was also broken…. They kindly opened 6 more which were also broken and finally the 7th and last one was unbroken and I happily grabbed that one. I have also modified mine with peg boards and shelves from the dollar store which have given me so much more space and also for cheap!!! I did also add a grow light to the top of mine but the humidity and seals I’m not worried with because the humidity here in my home in Florida stays between 50-60% naturally so they are fine. They are a bit flimsy, but like you, I agree they are affordable enough to do the job I need. Thank you for another video and I hope you enjoy the rest of your week. 🙏🏻💫

I have the larger, black version of this and the main thing that made me like it more is seal coating the base and silicone the case to the base to fill the gap, it went from leaky to watertight, although your plastic might last longer than my version!

Hi Miro, I bought two black greenhouses and one was fine, the other was scratched and not finished very well. Luck of the draw I think. BTW, IKEA post spare parts out so you may be able to get a replacement pin for the broken one.

IKEA does have a bigger greenhouse. And I think it comes in black. I have the size that you have because I preferred white.

For some reason the larger one is not available all throughout Europe. :) Mostly it isn’t, I am not sure why. Here, this is the only size. 🤷🏻

I fought with mine a while. I tried all Kinds of weather stripping until I found a way that worked. I have baby Hoyas in mine and a spiritus sancti baby.

Hi, I like this begonia content very much. I saw this cabinet recently in Ikea and honestly I think its a piece of crap. I'm trying to find some terrarium or aquarium which could be accomodate for my begonia collection instead. Thats beeing said I don't think your Begonia Maurice Amey is a real thing (which is a hybride between B. U062 en B. Pinafore) It's looks more like BU062 self for me but I might be mistaken. Check this out. Also I've noticed your beatiful Julau is losing it's pink. It happens when it grows in higher light, it's more shadow begonia so if you like to bring a pink colour back just remove it from under the light source. Greetings

I love all of your hoya videos! I purchased the IKEA greenhouse after watching PlantsbyMelissa's set up with grow lights and a cupcake two-level acryllic stand. It works perfectly for my smaller hoyas that don't need humidity. I guess I was fortunate mine wasn't scratched or cracked. Loved your begonias and put a couple of them on my wishlist.
