Planting the Fall Crops

Hi, my name is JT, otherwise known as The Farm Kid. My family owns and operates Scharf Farm in Millstadt, Illinois. I am the 4th generation to be a part of this farm and it holds a special place in my heart. On our farm, we grow various flowers, fruits, vegetables, and grains. I also enjoy raising chickens. Join me as I will create videos about the daily operations on our family farm. I will show you what it's like to grow food and bring it from our fields to your dinner table. Today we planted our fall crop’s. These include kale, broccoli, cabbage, and kale. These crops will be harvested in mid September and October.
