I just planted one of these in 4ft tall.How long will it take to settle in.It has started to wilt a bit.It was well watered with manure etc

Eric Gruntfuttock I planted mine with a bit of grit and sand with the soil a year ago it did not wilt at all and settled in straight away, I would feed it with some palm food that you water in to try and help it on. i will post a new video of mine in the next week or so

Eric Gruntfuttock palms need certain ph levels to grow well. Also most need sandy gritty soil. Maybe the manure it too acidic?

£160 from a local garden centre, i looked at cheaper ones but they was to small and shabby, i will video it again at the end of the year, it has took well and is looking healthy. i went for this type as its meant to be hardy in the winter. they seem to do better the more south you are
