You mention using zerotol to sanitize your crates prior to using them, and then worrying about fusarium and penicillium in some of your bulbs. I'm not sure if you knew, but you can use zerotol as a sanitizing soak for your bulbs. It's not a guarantee but it can definitely improve outcomes, you soak the bulbs for 2 minutes in the listed dilution strength then drain and allow to air dry. I use a similar product from the manufacturer for microgreens seeding as well, it can also be used as a foliar spray to keep downy and powdery mildew at bay

Hello, I just watched your video on forcing tulips. Do you have a follow up video with the dates and the temperatures that you had to keep your tulip bulbs at for early bouquets. I’m a flower farmer in upstate Vermont and I’m thinking about doing this process For next year for Mother’s Day and Valentine’s . Any information on temperature and dates that it took the tulips to bloom would be helpful. Thank you so much. I enjoy all your videos very informative. Darci

What a good idea ! My niece is getting married in March 2024, I suggested she could try to grow her own bouquet, now I'm concerned about the flowers that are going to be around that early in the season, but your experiment has me hopeful .

I think I’m going to try laying soil bags down in my seed startling greenhouse, (it’s on cement) punching small holes in the bottom of a soil bag and cutting out the “top” and planting bulbs straight into it. We shall see what happens.

I love this series! And thank for sharing your process without knowing if it will be a success or learning opportunity. It’s encouraging. We are wanting to do this next year but will have the opposite problem I’m afraid. It’s been in the 60/70’s in Oklahoma this past week. I think a cool bot will have to be our investment.

Great video! Did you purchase precooled bulbs? And if not, how did you cool them and for how long. Maybe I'm misunderstanding the whole process lol. Also, how much potting mix did you cover them with? 6" as it's recommended for planting in the ground? Thank you!

Would I be able to cool the bulbs in the fridge, then plant in crates to move outdoors in late winter? I'm in your zone in PA, and am looking for alternative ways to grow them, and don't have the cooler space to store them with soil

what are the dimensions of the crates you're using and if approaching local greenhouses for sourcing, do you suspect they would be willing to donate them or would it be polite to offer some cash for them?

Where do you get your crates...what is the best size. I am looking at trying to grow tulips
