I was staying at a hotel in Central California in June, (family reunion) and stopped by the free breakfast in the morning on the way out. All I could see was ripe bananas and fresh squeezed OJ. Filled my cup and grabbed a couple bananas. So grateful to see something so wonderful, that could sustain me for a while. Interesting how my focus is on whole food, and I prefer it. Yum!

Never been to a Woodstock but went to Veg Fest yesterday. They brought it to Hawaii last year but I couldn't go last year. I went for the food and entertainment. Really wanted to see Paul Izak perform but I got there late so I only got to see him do one song. But I got to see Mike Love who is also amazing and very good at connecting with the audience, and Paul was standing not very far from me enjoying the concert as well. As far as food goes I came hungry and left stuffed. Had foods that I haven't been able to have in years because normally it's full of meat, but of course these ones had no animal products.

i had a wild long dream that i went with you across the country with some other people from new york to socal. it was so intense but fun. a ton of stuff happened but one of the most memorable things was when i was having a panic attack (which happens in my dreams a lot) and you held my face and gave me this crazy talk about how im gonna be okay and then you took my hand and we jumped into a lake. and we went to the grand canyon which was sooo beautiful. and we ate all healthy plants and drank kombucha. omg. i wanna go back to that dream. lol. i woke up in a great mood. 😂

I love this festival, the place is amazing. As a Christian I would have some problem with all that oriental spiritual things, but it is nice to see so meny people looking for a more spiritual life. I would be Buddhist if I did not know Christ! But how can I pray to Buddha after I know Him ... I can' t. I also think ganesh is a cute elephant, but it's not my God. :D
