The passion fruit plant you have is a variety that produces orange fruit. It is ripe as it is now, and will not turn a dark purple color. The plants that bear purple passion fruit is a different variety.

@@TropicalPlantAddict I harvested mine when they were very dark purple and I left them to ripe until they were a little wrinkly. I'm guessing you can eat your passion fruits when they are a very bright orange colour. Try cutting one open next year and see if the seeds look juicy.

A lot of the time passion fruits will drop fruit for 3 reasons, either poor pollination which you can help by shaking the flower so the pollen falls on the male reproductive part of the flower or it could be insects or temperature drop, you can’t control the temperature but aphids are a big thing on passion fruit so keep an eye out in spring ☺️🌴🍃

Hi there I ended up keeping it for a few years… But I didn’t bother trying to promote the red growth again. I ended up giving it away and replacing with some rarer varieties of plants 🪴

@@TropicalPlantAddict Which variety of passion fruit is it? (P. Caerulea, P. Edulis?) Have you tried putting banana skins around them? Bananas give off ethylene gas as they start to decay which makes fruits ripen faster. (Great if your tomatoes are still a little green.)

No I let it dry out a bit in between waterings... I made an Alocasia Cuprea tips video a few weeks ago, you may find it useful. I’ve had my smaller one for around 2 years and it has 19 leaves ✨💜🌿

Sorry I’m not sure I only followed a recipe I found online a while back. I have never tried almond butter. I’m not a fan of milk in general but the oat milk tastes nice and creamy in this smoothie

I used to live in Hawai’i and now I live in Southern California. In Hawai’i the passion fruit goes from green to yellow when ripe. Here in California my passion fruit goes from green to purple when it’s ripe. I’ve never seen your green to orange variety. I do know though that leaving them until they wrinkle improves flavor. Why yours rots, I can’t imagine. 🤔

Is that a Spider Farmer brand of LED growlight? I have the SF1000. Under it I have a grafted 'Nam Doc Mai' mango, which is currently in bloom. In addition to: plumeria alba, coffee (arabica), dwarf Cavendish banana, Sambac jasmine 'Belle of India', tamarind (sour variety), grafted 'Hass' mango, Barbados cherry/Acerola and 'Pride of Madeira' (Echium fastuosum). The latter is put outside when there is no frost. PS: If you are looking for a large-capacity humidifier, I recommend the 15L 'RAM' brand of ultrasonic humidifer. I bought mine from a hydroponics specialist.

Anki was taken over by Digital Dream Labs and you can already pre order the new Vector which should be available May time 2021. I already pre ordered mine ☺️ There are also updates for the existing Vectors If you buy the subscription. I supported the Kickstarter back in March so got a lifetime subscription for $17
