Level 8 is actually more Last Stand. First off, you get 5000 sun, second off, it’s the Last Stand gamemode, and third, the whole “threats add up” is also Last Stand’s deal.

I got introduced to PVZ when I saw one of my cousins play it. I noticed they were having a bit of trouble with one of the fog levels, and noticing how Tall-Nut is able to counter Pogo Zombie well, that gave me the idea to try and help them. I don’t remember what plants I picked (besides Tall-Nut for the pogos), but it worked out in the end. For my first time playing it, I thought it was really fun, and ever since then, I started playing the game for myself and got super addicted to it! That brings us up to today, where I still play the game even if (like you said) it’s not as popular as it was back in the day. I just think no matter what happens, I will always be a PVZ fan through and through, and I have my cousins to thank for this wonderful experience that I was given.

The reason I first got into PvZ is because my dad pirated a lot of random games from some piracy website, and PvZ just so happened to be one of them, I absolutely loved playing it everyday as a kid, even today my dad still plays it on his phone! It got a lot of nice memories between me, my siblings, and dad so it definitely have a special place in my heart, happy 15 years PvZ 🎉

I got into PvZ from watching a playthrough by a KZbinr named NintendoCaprisun, back when I was just in elemetary school, my love for the game blossomed and I remember playing the game constantly after begging my parents to buy it for me,, I ended up playing the game a lot, and even got into playing PvZ Adventures (RIP) and PvZ Heroes as well, I’m so glad the community keeps this series alive, cause god only knows it wouldn’t have made it if we let PopCap try,, thats it I love your videos it’s like a PvZ long play for me to rest my head to after classes and labs, and banger music choices as well :3

I'll never forget my PvZ initiation. One of my cousins had a pirat-AHEM, a very legal and bought version on his laptop and passed it to me on a USB; which makes me laugh a bit cause I remember wanting to play House of the Dead or whatever that arcade game was but we couldn't make it work so he taught me the PvZ ways and I fell ass over heels for it. What makes me remember it so fondly though is that back in the day I didn't have a laptop or a computer, much less a cellphone or an iPad, so we had to go to an Internet Café anytime we had to use the internet. And I remember bringing my little USB (and prob breaking the rules about not installing foreign programs ) and playing it in ONE of the computers at the place. So everytime we went I always waited for that ONE computer to be available to play. So much so the owner of the place told us to tell him the name of the game so that he could install it in all computers and I didn't have to wait for that specific one, cause yes, I could wait hours for it just to see peas being shot at zombies. Likewise, yet again breaking rules but getting away with it (cause let's be real folks, young me knew shit about how computers work so I didn't realize everytime I oppenned the game on the USB it would install it) I remember bringing my little USB to school to the computer lab and playing it on our down time one day. And next class the teacher pulled me aside and told me: "I noticed the game you installed on your assigned computer... I love it". And thus, not only was I indoctrinated into the PvZ cult, I mean family, I also indoctrinated (on accident) my old computer lab teacher. Now, here we are, rooting for our very own Flag Zombie. PS. Good shit I always had a good relationship with her cause later on I learned there were actual monetary fines for messing around with the school equipment (old ass computers but still).

I remember playing PvZ on my grandfather’s PC (rest in peace old man), and on an old iPhone that I can do longer get working. I remember wanting the console version at the time from seeing versus mode. Once I got the game on Christmas Day, I fell in love with the game. Only game that captured me faster than PvZ was DOOM 2016. Still though, it’s a damn fine port for the game

Ngl, it’s weird remembering how PvZ as a franchise is older than me, but only by a little over a month, it’s WEIRD. Anyways- 2013, I came across PvZ2 on the App Store, and I saw it as a charming game, and so, I played it. I remembering getting to the end of Wild West, but can’t recall if I played Far Future. And, that was where it began for me with the Franchise. I stopped playing it a few months after finishing WW, but I kept going on & off with the franchise, especially the shooters. Interacting & replaying each game was so charming back in 2015-2018. It’s rather sad how bad of a state modern PvZ is in, I guess that’s how things go. I really do hope the franchise redeems itself in the following years, if Popcap is still around then. There’s so much potential & charm the series has & utilised which always brings me back. Though, no matter how dark it gets for the franchise, I’m staying with it, even if support for all of its game end eventually ❤ - Sleepy -

You know, I didnt think I was a big PvZ fan until I tried to remember when I first found PvZ. Unsurprisingly, being 3 when the first game released, I can't remember it all that clearly. But I do remember my older sister playing it on the family computer. I remember seeing the plants beyond world 1, the squash and the threepeater and blover and more. But only in the end of demo add, showing so much. I remember playing popcap games when my siblings got an Xbox live account for the 360, where we played the demos for peggle and PvZ, where I experienced the game for myself. I remember being at a friends house, and crying when the zombies won in the xbox couch pvp mode because they ate your brains and were scary for that. I remember the PVZ comics, the children's book, the art book, and my first experience seeing Chinese PvZ there. Ive been a PvZ fan my whole life, and I didn't even realize it until this video. I was introduced to PvZ from my Aunt that showed the game to my parents. I saw that my Aunt was on the roof level. After that day I asked my mom to download it onto the IPad we had and since then I’ve played both mobile games, Heroes, and all three shooters. Wow that last level was something truly amazing. Insane how they're doing better than the vanilla event if it's as bad as you say. The way I discovered the game was back then in 2014 I just found the game in the play store I think, and that's basically it. I played through the game like 10 times it feels, every time my dad deleted it I just played through it again, never got any of the mini game packs though. Funny thing about the first time I played the game is I remember I just left a review about how level 2-1 was impossible for no reason, I don't remember even dying on the level at all, I just left that review.. also I remember your story about the DS version from some other video I watched like 3 days ago

In 2010, I saw my cousin played PvZ and the game instantly interested me. Once I got the game on PC, I played it all day, using cheat engine, hacking beat adventure mode, minigames etc multiple times. Good memories I played pvz Adventure on Facebook. The game was fun but it was really hard as you need power up to beat later stage. The game felt like "PvZ3 the prequel". I like PvP mode where you control zombies and attack other players to steal their brains. Meanwhile your plants have to protect the brain from zombies players. When PvZ2 comes out, I instantly thought it is a direct upgrade to PvZ1. I can ignore all the microtransaction and beat modern day. I dropped PvZ2 after level up was introduced. Too much grinding. PvZ Reflourished rekindle my love for this franchise

PvZ was sooooo popular back then, that my elementary classmates even talk about it and draw plants together. J'avais vu des publicités à sa sortie, mais les zombies m'avaient fait croire que c'était un jeu "pour les grands". I know it's a day old, but I first got into Plants vs Zombies when I found it through Shockwave and their games platform. Ended up loving it and spent a long time playing. Eventually got a DS copy, ended up losing it, and now I think I have the 2nd copy I got, maybe. I was super pumped when I read in a game magazine that they were making a sequel... except I didn't have a smartphone at the time, so I was absolutely bummed out when I figured out it was for mobile devices. Also, I'd like to think they give you a peashooter in the first level since it's the first ever plant in the game you ever get to use.

My parents had the game as far back as i can remember. I have great memories of playing the Mini-games with my sister and looking through the Almanac. Throughout my life I kept getting sucked into the franchise every once in a while and I became really addicted once Reflourished released. Thank you Rfl Team, thank you PopCap, thank you PvZ community, and happy 15th anniversary!

My journey with PvZ actually started last year, when I decided to boot up Flashpoint and try out the demo for the first game, and I really enjoyed it. After that I got the full game (though not the Steam version), played through all of it and fell in love with the franchise

Level 7 is actually a reference to Air Raid, one of the available but unused minigames in the official release (in Limbo page, need Cheat Engine to make it public in the game to play) The level is basically air-related zombies (and Catapults which I don't see RFL devs put any equivalents in this event)

I started playing PvZ with the early days of PvZ2 on my phone. My dad had a copy of PvZ on his work laptop, so we enjoyed talking about the franchise from time to time. A little sad about where the franchise has come to now, but it's still so fun to go into a level and bust up a horde or two.

while i've played a lot of pvz 1 and 2, what really got me into this franchise was garden warfare, it was REALLY good for just a shooter spin off of a tower defense game, also garden warfare 2 was just a straight upgrade from the first one.

I used to play the online flash version of PvZ1 a LOT before my dad bought the game to me... 4 seed slot survival and giga-footballs are just as nostalgic to me as the rest of the full game was. I gotta admit tho, it was WEIRD unlocking Potato Mine when i played the full game for the first time instead of Squash XD EDIT: I forgot about this event's Column Like You See Em'! I actually used the plants from the original minigame for this one. My winning attempt was really lose to being a loss, and I had to restart a couple of times because I forgot about the no shovel7plant food objective... Still fun tho!

My babysitter is the one who introduce me to the game. I really enjoyed the gameplay and mechanic in Pvz. Zackscottgames also help me to enjoy this franchise more. I also bought some Pvz chinese comic that I sometimes will read it. A question over here to commenters. My cousins always need my help to defeat Zomboss because I was the only one who can defeat him when I was a kid. Who else have similiar experience?

I found out pvz was a thing due to my sister's (at the time) boyfriend playing through it. I thought it was really cool how every single level beaten added an entirely new plant to your loadout, and while I didn't know any of them it made it that much more special. Rushing past the little introduction of torchwood and wondering why it wasn't shooting the promised fireballs on its own was a fun experience. Back then though, before I had it myself, I was just sort of there to point out where uncollected sun was dropped. Good, simple times!

Also I did wanna mention that Flag Zombie knows the game super well. Level 8 looked super fun/painful and you can tell that he practiced it a lot, playing for the long game and only committing sun when he needed to. Great editing throughout as well. Good stuff! ^^

That invisighoul level was so fun to watch LMAO The finale was great too, feels like a bit of a throwback to the April Fools event + a buncha PvZ1 references thrown in. Fun times!
