Thank you Devin. I had some beautiful red ones a few years ago. I’ve never been able to find that color again. Now I know how to root them should I find them again

Hello. Last year I cut all the foliage off my geraniums and took separate stems with roots attached and put them into a box in my garage. In the spring I planted them inside and they turned into beautiful plants. Not sure if it would work again with the same plants. I will try some as you did in the video and some the way I did last year. Thanks for the information.

It is great to do both methods as a back up!

Great video! How do you keep pests off of your plant that may have hitchhiked onto a cutting?

I don’t worry about pests, they’re very minimal for this type of project

Thanks for the detailed information. Great reminder to get this done. What other plants can be propagated this way?
@plantvibrations6 ай бұрын
A lot can but not a lot will survive overwintering indoors like this

Another great tutorial. I’m a little confused though. Late fall; so do I put the cuttings under lights and on a warming mat immediately or give the cuttings a few weeks first? Thank a ton for sharing your experience.❤️🇨🇦

Once you have the cuttings planted up then heat and lights right away

Devin, I bought cascading geraniums from the "Q" this years. They're doing fine for the 1st yr but will they overwinter well in the garage? I don't want to lose them (I'm in Idaho). I considered setting them by the west facing house wall in Nov., but I think that might be too cold for them. Thanks.

I would take cuttings like I show in this video and also attempt overwintering the ‘mother’ plant in the garage

Since geraniums are perennials, I will definitely try this.😊 How do propagate alyssum plants??

Definitely worthy of its own video!

One of my First Employers was a commercial Greenhouse. Each hoop house only had one type of plant i.e. "the Geranium House". On a HOT Summer Day you needed a Gas Mask to go into that house, Ever since the smell of Geraniums, makes me gag. 🤢
