I love your content! You could not do anything better. I am a single mother of two children with special needs - one who is profoundly disabled from a traumatic brain injury. It's very frustrating when I look at other channels expecting to find nutritional content and it ends up being someone showing off their beautifully organized refrigerator and giant kitchen. You are so relatable and the time you use in your videos is health related and your conversation purposful. And I'm someone who already knows how to cook! But I still continue to get great ideas from you. Thank you!

My hubby got me the food chopper for Christmas. Its awesome! I was spending 30 mins every night chopping veggies. I found your channel a few weeks ago. Love it! We cook similar, but I was getting into a rut. Excited to make a bunch of your recipes. Thank you! Also, I'd love your meal planner. Trying to get more organized & this should help. Happy New Year!

❤❤❤Love love love your video. So practical. So down to earth. I’m sharing with my adult children. You truly teach so anyone can follow and adapt your recipes to their lifestyle. Especially like all your practical bean tips. Reducing gas has to be a priority if you are going to adopt a vegan diet. Thank you!!! I also appreciate how you model minimizing the amount of dishes you dirty.

Thank you so much for all the delicious sounding recipes, it's a lot! They all have so much flavor, I love cumin and Worcestershire (I know that's spelled wrong but don't have time to look it up) sauce! I really appreciate how realistic all the ingredients are, thank you! I am dying to make that lentil shepherd's pie 😍 I have been wanting that but all the recipes I've found are too time consuming!

I loved these recipes today. Thank you. The ip is my most favorite tool in the kitchen. I love the freezer meals too though i dont have space in my apartment sized frige. I want to let you know that you can make the yogurt in the stainless steel pot directly. I have been doing this for 10 years. I also save the whey when i strain it. Save the whey in an ice cube tray and just add a couple to your batch instead of the probiotics. I use my yogurt in sweet and savory recipes alike. I love it as a replacement for sour cream.

I love making yogurt in my Instant pot too! I buy the starter from Amazon ( the belle+bella brand). I use 1 packet per Mason jar ( 32 oz). My Instant pot gives me a choice of pasteurized or fermented yogurt so I always go for the fermented option. I let it go for 9:30hrs. I am able to put two 32oz jars inside my Instant pot. Once ready I remove about 2Tbsp from each jar and reserve in a smaller one to use as the starter for my next batch 😉. 2Tbsp are enough to make another 32oz jar. Just store it in your fridge or freezer for your next batch! I do have a Greek yogurt strainer that I got from Amazon to make the yogurt very thick and creamy. Also a good trick I use to make vanilla bean yogurt is that I split open a vanilla bean lengthwise and I use 1 half for each 32oz jar. I scrape the inside into the milk and stir it with the starter. When mixed really well I also put the halved vanilla pod inside the milk for extra vanilla goodness 😋. It doesn't fall apart, you can just pull it out when the yogurt is ready. It is absolutely delicious 😋

I'm grateful for these I pot recipes as the crock pot doesn't seem to work out for me. I've had to throw away two crock pot meals last week and I'm on a low spend Jan. I don't have money to waste.

Loved this video. I’m trying the Rotten Vegetable Soup and Green Beans and meatballs first. There’s a MIT guy who does food research who says green beans are the most healthy. So want more green beans in my life.

So far I have gotten to the lemon poppy seed oatmeal. In my house, I am the only lemon lover. This would be a blueberry poppyseed oatmeal here. My roomie eats oatmeal most mornings she loves blueberries but she is iffy on fruit in her oatmeal. But I bet I could get her to try this

I am interested in the Madras Lentils. I have a five spice powder I got from an Asian market that would be delicious in this recipe. I really didn't know what to use it for. Lol The almost rotten veggie soup I'm trying also. I'm trying to eat more veggies. Your recipes look so delicious!!

Made the Rotten Vegetable Soup last night and it was a total winner with my family. 😋Thankfully the Old Bay Seasoning is available in Australia (for Aussies - I got mine at Woolies). Now if only we could get Butlers Soy Curls ...... 😊

@@lexirowe3151 you can buy vegan Worcestershire sauce. I have 2 bottles of Annie's (brand) Vegan Worcestershire sauce in my pantry right now. Of course it isn't how it was originally invented. 🤷♀️

What did you do with the stems of the artichokes? They are an extension of the heart. Peel them and add them to the pot they are super tender and delicious. I'm crying thinking you wasted them.

Always wash beans and lentils before cooking. They are field harvested, taken out of their pods, sorted and put into bags. The processing plant does not wash them. I have found twigs, rocks, and bean-shaped dirt clods over the years. WASH YOUR DRY BEANS AND LENTILS BEFORE COOKING.

Shepherd's pie typically uses lamb/mutton, and Cottage pie typically uses beef... it's easy to remember as Shepherd's farm sheep.... also I love nutmeg in my mashed potatoes

Dried chickpeas are much cheaper. But the way you make them with the baking soda and salt really increases the sodium.

I don’t have an instant pot . I have a lot of appliances and I just am not going to buy another one. Saying that I am retired and have more time to cook.
@TerryJ95020 күн бұрын
I’m retired too, and about five years ago, I received an instant pot as a birthday gift. I have to say it’s the best gift I’ve ever gotten! I use it several times a week for soups, beans, cooking potatoes, steaming greens, and making perfect rice every time. I love the set and forget, and as I cook for myself only, it’s great for batch cooking. It’s easy to use and clean up. I sound like a commercial, but if my IP breaks, I’m ordering another one the same day!

The Instant Pot is well worth the money. Just making your own yogurt will save $$$. It is the most efficient cooking method. UNDER THE MEDIAN channel did a test of all cooking methods and Instant Pot won.

@paulamoors better add it to your wish list for your b-day or Christmas! I bought my 6-qt Instant Pot 14-15 yrs ago after I got laid off from my job and was attending school full time - best $85 I ever spent! It's still working great! It was on sale on Amazon around the time they first hit the market.

I have pickie roomie. She doesnt like onion. 🧅 she likes the flavor, hates the texture. So we use alot of onion powder and occasionally I blend in my nutribullet . If I have the mental energy to add the step to the process.
