A 1/8" bit to grind off isn't much if your talking about a 4" workpiece, but over a 6' or longer? Can you get it down a little more?

It takes the same time to cut and grind either way

@@adamrutz6655 So you're saying it takes the same time to cut and grind off a 1/8" x 1/2" x 96" standoff as it does to grind one 1/32" x 1/2" x 96"? Or are you saying (without saying) that this tool cannot cut any closer to the workpiece? My first question was actually more rhetorical as it was more of an explanation for the second more relevant question that I asked. While I do appreciate your opinion, I am more interested if the tool can cut closer to the workpiece.

Man!!! We needed this at McGuire nuclear station few years back. Cutting an old head stand 1" stainless. Had to take it down to base material. Really could've used this!!!

Looks very niche. You can get right down to base metal with arc gouging, but it needs a big welder and makes a mess.

I love the fake tech that says oh man a pack of cut off wheels ate expensive... Who in the hell is going to grind that with a cut-off Wheel?
