Make a plaster head form bust! The easiest and cheapest way for you to make a generic plaster head form that can be used to make masks, hats, or project on for Halloween. A simple process that will make you one of the most valuable and hard to acquire tools for FX work.

I'm having a problem with my plaster wanting to flake off while sanding and yes there were plenty of holes and lines for plaster to hold on to. I keep reapplying, some mixture is thicker, some thinner. Since I don't plan on making many latex masks or even sculpting with clay on it, would it be okay to cover it in an acrylic caulk? I plan on making more EVA foam masks and head pieces with it.

a wrinkle on a sculpt, becomes a sharp ridge of plaster, that breaks off really easy with POP. so the detail it can hold is limited by the tensile strength of the plaster
