Plastering A Small Extension. 30*c , Too Hot For Plastering ?

This video shows us plastering a small extension. It was very hot for these two days but thankfully the sun didn’t come round until the evening hours. Even so the extension turnt into a green house after about 2 o’clock.

Nice job, plastering is young man’s game with out a doubt, I should have stopped when I hit 50 but unfortunately I struggled on until I was 65 , lot has changed we had no drill no big buckets , bags was twice the size, oh hessian scrim 🙈, on plus side had labourers to mix oh and apprentices that was fun, when you’re 16 it was easy , and no one uses board and stand any more plus doing ceilings of hop ups we always had scaffold Christ I sound like a old git!!

@@kennypetford2190 yeah dad always tells me stories about bicycle cogs to mix up skim I can’t imagineeee having to mix up with that. Would take yearsss hahaha. Dad always sez his old boss used to get every single ceiling scaffolded otherwise he wouldn’t skim it
