I have bakelite factory, you can not give this colour to bakelite without painting, mostly tableware products are melamine or urea , only frypan handles are producing from bakelite

Bakelite was used a lot for rifle magazines by the Russians and other comm bloc countries after WW2

Lots of old picnic ware is urea formaldehyde rather than Bakelite made by Brookes and Adams in Birmingham and called BandAlasta

All plastic? or petroleum based plastic? orrrrrrrrrr? there are a few hundred types of plastic... some are biodegradable... some are absolutely essential to the progression of humanity as we know it.... I don't think the problem is plastic, I think the problem is people using plastic where it doesn't need to be used, or where there is a more temporary economical solution.... saying you wish plastic was never invented is like saying you with metal was never invented.... it just seems like an umbrella statement that doesn't really express what your real issue is... plastic is great when used properly... it's just horrible when we use it for a day then throw it away for the dolphins and turtles to choke on...
