Isn't there an ugly opening in the plastic frame where you made each cut??

The first round of cuts: just one mm left. The second round: 1. pull the grid out first, then carefully cut the remaining 1-2 mm of thickness left. To stay away from the glass. The French door will be replaced with a sliding door later, close to the summertime.
