How to remove french doors

If, for some reason you were going to wall that opening up, is it acceptable to set new studs under the header or do you need to remove it and replace with full length studs?

That’s a good question I don’t see why you couldn’t just build a small wall. 16 inches off on studs and close it up. You might want to check the local building codes. Good luck thanks for watching.

I'm having French doors removed and a standard exterior door installed so I can expand the kitchen cabinets. I was going to myself but I don't think so now 😂

Yeah it’s a lot more complicated than I thought and hard to do specially getting the door to see it right
