These look quite decent models but why 1/32 and not 1/35 ? I could never understand Airfix's decisions.

@@supergooberstudios3257 Tamiya started doing 1/35 in 1968 I believe; I started doing Tamiya and Italeri 1/35 in the early 70s, so 1/35 has been popular for at least 50 years. I know Airfix also did a few vehicles in 1/32 so they did the figures in the same scale. Monogram also did some military vehicles/figures that were 1/32, but others were 1/35! I haven't figured that one out yet. I read the story about why things went from 1/32 to 1/35 but really can't remember now. Think Tamiya did it because Mr Tamiya decided that's what he wanted - and many of his decisions on subject matter etc is what HE wanted, and that was that! I know there's more to the story, but I just can't recall it.

​@@mh53jTamiya's first model kit (of a Panther tank) was made to fit a particular box size. "Box scale" kits were common in the early days. Tamiya's Panther model turned out, purely by accident, to be 1/35 scale, and we've been stuck with that silly, illogical scale ever since. 1/32 scale is a logical inch scale. 1/32nd of an inch on your ruler equals 1 inch on the model. Easy. 1/35 scale means, nothing really.

I heard it has early war and late war things and i also heard that the pamzer fraust or whatever the rocket launvher is called is not the right scale still looks like a good set though

The hands always let these Multipose figures down. Ideally they should be scratchbuilt, or at least have the fingers cut off and rebuilt.

At least this Airfix multipose range i have two boxes of the German infantry and the poses are great. That walking figure is pretty good even unpainted.👍🇭🇲🦘🐨✌️
