How you close ellipse created with curve. It is impossible. I tried all tools with constant Unknown Error. "J" never works. I cannot buil anu closes vector, because it is in "a different world space" this is absurd! How you work if you build various objects?

You mean an arc? Shouldn't an ellipse already be closed?

Hallelujah! I thought there had to be an easier way that I don’t know how. I traced an object but it was showing as a sheet. SW your example at 1:55 of the patch holes command and solved my issue. Thank you

Perfect tips, but there is a glitch in your video at 4:30 Minor issue though as the video is packed with very useful tips. I save all your vids. Great job!

Thanks for these videos. Among all these solutions with curves I have not found this: how can I make a tangent circle to two lines? .... and to a line? ... and three lines? It may seem joke but I have had to make too many tricks to solve it. There must be a simple solution.

Hi there! Thanks a lot for all those short videos. They are straight tpo the point, very infomative and, well, short. I'm learniong a lot from them. I have an interesting question though, I couldn't solve in plasticity so far: How can I create a coiled phone cable that's following a spline?
@Pixelfondue10 ай бұрын
I dont think there is currently an option/feature that allows for that. Its very easy to do in something Like Modo which is how I would tackle it. If I work up a solution in Plasticity, I'll make a video and share.

Simply amazing !!! You have the best plasticity tutorial channel out there, We would really love some long tutorials with commentary, For example an hour or more long tutorial for modeling a complex product or maybe divide it into parts ... Where we could follow you through the entire process of modeling , Something complex like a gaming mouse or stuff with irregular shapes and interesting surface details , I really love your channel

There are several artists creating Plasticity videos in the format you describe. You should check out artists like Nikita : www.youtube.com/@nikita.kapustin

Hope to have some longer ones soon. There's multiple people making videos at Pixel Fondue. William does all these great short ones. The rest of us who make longer ones are catching up on Plasticity.

When I see you doing all these things and solving all of the modeling exercises, I always feel like I could never think up these clever solutions. Does this just come with experience?

Comes with experience. Keep modeling and you'll get there
