Personally I like this wipe being crazy with multiclassing! Terrence and SDF said multiple times on the darkest hour and Onepegs interview that this wipe is for breaking the game with op builds and multiclassing so people are dooming for no reason ! You can equip plate armor when using slayer if you use the warlock's Demon Plate perk. I'm not sure if it is intended though, because you cant assign plate from the squire while slayer is applied, but this also may just be a squire/slayer bug, and its actually intended to work. If you assign your squire to hand you plate before you put slayer on, even after you put slayer on, you keep the plate armor and you are still able to put on new plate you find in the dungeon, or buy from the armor merchant, the marketplace. If you die then the squire will still put you in plate armor even if you have slayer on. The only hiccup I've experience is trying to assign your squire gear while slayer is applied.

In trying to put together my Arcane Trickster Rogue, I had to get Weapon Master from the Fighter. Playing a Rogue with utility spells is fun, but I might've had more fun while I was basically a weird Rogue Ranger. Poison Weapons with Cut Throat and Rupture on a Recurve Bow is great.

I don’t normally run trios but I would guess PDR and MDR. If you have a healer with you, then you could probably run a high HP slayer build

Why not using Sword Mastery and for example a dagger with + x phys Power? I watched the video twice, i dont get it why hes using this combo, clear me up with a timestamp where he gives an explanation, pls. Edit: Or wait, does the axe spec which is "while using axes, gain +5 weapon" means that the other weapon also get buffed, that would be awesome.
