As prior military, I believe these guys did a good job demonstrating the ability to shoot, move and communicate with this body armor. It is difficult to maneuver in. Anyone who wants to throw out negativity, just go ahead and post your video of you doing better.

We also don’t get paid or teach classes. They should be held to a higher standard. This demonstration of their rifle and movement skills was terrible for “professional instructors”.

I get much better training as a civilian defender than I ever had as an infantry soldier. If I were in AZ today, I would love to train with youse guys.

really no one's gonna say anything about how the guy in black covered the other with the muzzle of his rifle while flipping it over his sholder? Wasn't very smart move on dudes part. why did he even do that?

Yea these dudes are horrible instructors. The fact they apparently teach this shit yet can barely run it them selves smoothly says a lot about their “classes”.

After watching them run this drill. I don’t think we would want them too. These apparent “instructors” can barely run their own drill. They stumble like weekend warriors/first time students taking a class.

If you attend a class that teaches 2 to the chest and 1 to the head look elsewhere for better training

I'm a 6'4" tall and proportionately wider guy and have been looking for body armor. It appears that Johns plate is too small to provide protection to his lungs (sides of the plate) and spleen (lower left of plate) that contains a lot of blood. It looks too narrow and too short. In the abdominal cavity, you have the Aorta, inferior vena cava and many of their branches. I'm a firefighter/ medic that has dealt with gun shot wounds first hand. People die from a lot more than just shots to the heart and head. When watching youtube, I'm often baffled to see many people inadequately shielded. It appears that most are just shielding their hearts. A lot can go wrong from gun shot wounds to the surrounding areas around these tiny plates. I know that you gotta be mobile, but don't they make wider and taller plates to shield better? I measured out that a plate should be 15"-16" wide (hopefully curved) to adequately shield my lungs from a head on (or rear) shot. 17" tall would adequately cover the height (clavicle down to the navel). I do have taller than usual lungs. I don't plan on doing soldier boy routines... just home defense, so protection trumps mobility for me. Any thoughts on larger plates?

Your gear looks and seems excellent, BUT I'm still Leary of buying body armor off the net and having it fit well. Sad thing is I'm 66 not in the shape you guys are in. I finding that running and gunning anymore is not in my future though I shoot regularly and play compete.............. I don't believe armor is in my future.

H Smith Have you considered soft armor? Vests usually hover around 5lbs. Also there are (usually pricey) UHMWPE rifle plates around 3lbs each.

+Khaleb Zelaya They were primarily doing this to see if their gear was set up correctly for shooting and moving about. Obviously in a real life firefight you want to stay behind cover as much as possible.
