I've owned a plate carrier and a ballistic helmet for about five or six years now I've always said I'd rather be over-prepared then underprepared!👍

100 percent on board with your assessment. I also have predator 3+ armor with the frag/spall mitigation coating. I also put the plates inside the Guard Dog Kevlar sleeve which gives even more protection from spall and it all fits within the plate carrier. I also train with it, and I loss 30 pounds in order to prepare for wearing it and now it's a lot easier to operate in, but it would be even better if I could lose another 20 pounds lol. I've learned that certain things are budget but quality such as Anderson lowers, Predator Armor, Taction has some sound products, UTG, Vortex, some items from Sight Mark, Strike Industries etc. Everything I have, has a specific purpose and was researched and compared through price, durability, reliability, taking into account certain reviews and what I could or couldn't live with. Everybody has to do what works for them, but I'm pretty confident in what I have, and I have put it all through the paces during classes. I mean if it's gonna fail on you, it's better to know during a class instead of real life! Good content brotha! Keep up the good work. ✊

Yes it is necessary. I live in ST. Louis Mo. we have home invasions, Car jackins everyday..Good advice.the weight factor is why you find most youtubers wear just the plate carrier without plates in itn
