I don’t mean to be critical in any way but when you compress your slab you definitely want to use the flat side of the rib. When making such a large thick slab you definitely need to use a more stiff and longer rib to make sure and get a more even compression and slab.

Great tutorial. Question though. Why are you using such a thick slab? I know it shrinks but wouldn't this be clunky if you made 8 stackable plates? Just trying to figure out a proper thickness. Thanks,
