Platelet count and Platelet Estimate (Recap)

A Platelet count is defined as the number of platelets in 1 Liter (L) or 1 microliter(UL) of whole blood while a Platelet Estimate is a count made using a blood smear that is used for counter checking Platelet counts. This video will give a recap of these 2 procedures that are important in Hematology.

I wish it count had continued to the counting platelet on hemocytometer...that would have been great to compare with estimate results as well.. bdw, it was good to watch your video..#thanks
