why would someone ask if your employees are wearing gloves? even wearing gloves, touch something and then your face. it is just like not wearing gloves. or am I just over thinking this? employees are inside, long as no one has the virus, then should be life as normal. just sanitize hands when you get to work, before and after breaks and when you leave. adding gloves is just and extra expense that companies don't need to do. my thoughts and no I am not a doctor. lol just someone with a thought!

Thanks for commenting sparky. While gloves are not a legal requirement, they help create a barrier between surfaces and the user, which while not 100% full proof, will reduce risk. Hattons is fully committed to reducing risk to it's team and our fantastic customers, and having gloves as an extra level of protection contributes to this. We have also expanded our supplies of handwash, wipes and other precautionary items to help reduce risk even more.

Contamination will show up under ultra violet light. UV irradiation is used for sterilising fish tanks. You could sterilise models sent in for DCC fitting in this way. You could provide a click and collect service for callers at the shop.

Hi Wittersham Road, thanks for the suggestion, but we have decided to stop DCC fittings outright during this time period to keep risk at an absolute minimum for the benefit of our team and of course customers on the receiving end. All it would take is a missed area under the light and risk would be increased, so for now, DCC fittings will remain suspended.

Hi R32, closing the store currently is a precautionary measure only, we do intend to re-open once additional information is provided from the UK government and the situation improving. Hi James, we currently have not had word from suppliers regarding any delays in pre-orders, but as we state in the video, we are anticipating receiving such information from suppliers over the coming weeks. No point in taking precautions where you are if you then attend Alexandra Palace and get infected and then go on and infect someone else. I am in the vulnerable category and have asked my son not to go for my sake. He is disappointed but understands why. There will be other shows
