I just want to congratulate you on your detail-oriented analysis. Bravo. This person is not only completely unethical (as theft is a criminal act to be prosecuted), he also must feel pretty emboldened. He may be a magician, but it was clear as day on video there was a redemption in that box. Even his reaction defied reason. He yelled in surprise before even reading the redemption. I would just suggest ppl only opt for known and recognized breakers not these shady characters who plague the hobby. Start with the group breakers that are officially authorized on the card company corporate websites. And even if you do, always proceed with caution, as breaks are a form of non governed gambling.

Talking about having his daughter read him redemption codes, while stealing another redemption for his daughter to read to him. Doesn’t get any worse than that. I’ve spent thousands breaking with these guys, and I honestly thought they were big enough to not risk ruining they’re reputation/business by scamming people. Well I was just proved wrong. The hobby has no place for this and platinum should be stripped of all of their allocations. They get more product than 99% of breakers, some of these distributors need to see this. Unfortunately like most things it’s all about the $ and unless the people still supporting them stop altogether, nothing will happen.

With that being said, WOW he handles those cards like a blackjack dealer at Caesars Palace! Legit slams them on the table. And these aren’t your everyday $20-30 blasters. Can’t believe how big a following they have w handling like that! Regarding the scam, I initially gave him the benefit of the doubt that he legit just didn’t see it. Ironically he was talking right before the break, or beginning part of the break about redeeming redemptions with his daughter or son I believe. Glad that's one that he isn't redeeming.

100% he pulled off a scam & tried to play it off! His body language and demeanor says it all! Also, how the heck are you going to handle the cards like that!? Slamming down cards from NT!! I'm willing to bet all my money on it these guys pulled this before. That's the only reason why they were so confident and trying to pull this this time around! It looked so orchestrated...like a system they had in place to pull it off but got busted, so he tried to make it seem like they pick it out of the trash can smh... CLEARLY HAD IT IN HIS HAND PULLED IT OFF THE RIGHT HAND OF THE TABLE! No one ever buy from them because super slime ball & obviously a liar and a thief! Then uses the excuse he has thrown a cards away before!! Like there's so many red flags with these people I can't believe they still have people buying from them!

Thank you for this video - Platinum runs off a small group of people with what seems like unlimited funds. These guys have always been "scammers" - look at their repacks where they make SO much money and give complete trash. This was so obvious, I really wonder if that was the actual redemption in the box or a different massive card. Seems like he switched it out.
