I think every parent and grandparent is encouraged by the behaviour of Prince Louis. We can see that our own four year olds are not so out of line on formal occcasions! Katherine is so wise, she touches him when he gets too excited.. a valuable trick for Grandma's like me !

Some people seem to forget that Prince William and Duchess Catherine rightfully try to delay the introduction of their children at an early age to large crowds and have been pacing the exposure for good reason. This was such an exceptional occasion that Prince Louis, who has had very limited exposure to large crowds, was included. The crowd, the noise, the lights, the staging and the length of the program were challenging.

I’m so glad that the Cambridge kids had such a wonderfully fun time. It was a breath of fresh air to see them amongst the walking Royals. Little Louis really did steal the show. He was pushing boundaries as all children do especially at the most inconvenient times Ask your mum if you ever embarrassed her as a child. The difference is that most children are not in the full glare of the world's media Kate adores her children as does William and the children are fortunate to have supportive grandpareon on both sides. The saddest thing is that the Harkles have denied their children an extended family I wonder how Archie and Llilibet will feel about that when they start to ask inevitable questions.

He is too cute and is just 4 but it is good he could attend and his antics are typical of a 4 year old. I wish people would not criticize but chuckle and realize each child and their behavior is unique. For a child of his age this is not unexpected. He sure made me smile. I remember trying to contain my own exuberant son at times when he was little. They grow and mature in no time. These funny memories are treasured in years to come. I absolutely loved that he was included as much as possible. The older two also were such typical older siblings and very well behaved. Loved seeing so much of them enjoying the Jubilee too!!

Since Louis stole the show during the pageant, I haven't seen anyone talking about Mike Tindall with his kids, especially with Mia the oldest one. She kept cuddling into him throughout the show and there were really cute moments where he was kissing her on the head/the cheek (there was also a nice moment just before the end where Kate was talking to Mia as well. You can see how close the Cambridges and Tindalls/Phillips are). She is definitely a daddy's girl rather than a mummy's girl. You can also tell throughout the pageant how he's the type of man who is playful with kids and gives them that kind of energy rather than being serious all the time, like with his own kids and with Louis. There's another really cute moment where he was standing up holding little Lucas and dancing with him.

I don't think Lucas Tindall was present. Edit: Daily Mail.and other sources show him arriving later. It could have been his older sister Lena. We got to see a lot of the royal great grandchildren this weekend. The three Cambridge kids, he two elder Tindall kids Mia and Lena, both of the Phillips daughters Savannah and Isla, baby August Brooksbank, and briefly Christopher Woolf Mapelli Mozzi (Beatrice's stepson) at the Jubilee Pageant. Sienna Mapelli Mozzi and Lucas Tindall were too young. Yeah, it was great to see Mike Tindall interact with his children and young Louis. I can see that the Cambridges are all quite close to the Tindalls.
