When Steve Danuser wanted his made up virtual gf in the leading position so bad he basically speedran Vol'jin's death and just made him die to a random felguard instead of a proper meaningful story, meanwhile Sylvanas gets to literally do the most abhorrent sh1t in Warcraft lore, surpassing even Arthas in that regard, and Danuser is like "oh but she's my perfect girl, I can't let them kill her!" and wrote it off as a half-@ssed attempt at a redemption arc. Don't worry, she'll be back in an expansion or so and lead us all against the void lords as the universally elected ruler of Azeroth and will singlehandedly defeat every enemy while reviving Nathanos so Danuser can keep touching himself when writing their forced romance story.

honestly most of this is conjecture at this point. as far as we know her contact with the jailor could have happened much later. im thinking when the soul cage broke. i mean. around that time just before it ysera became the last soul not to go to the maw and the cage breaking was the only possible soul related thing that happened after her death. thus he suddenly got a power boost and probably got the ability to influence the living world then. also i don't think they are setting her up as a villain. because i know blizzard too well. guessing that the jailor took control of her (after all, she was controlled by the lich king in wc3 before he weakened and his power came from the jailor) and saving her may be some sort of key to beating him. because they did the same story with kerrigan and blizzard hasn't had a original plot in a long time

@@youzonk7692 Had Garithos gone through with what he wanted to do, as bad as it sounded, a fairly solid 65-70% of WoW as we know it wouldn't have happened. Maybe it would have in some other form, who knows, but you can trace _a lot_ of it back to Kael'thas being a fuckup and saying yes to Naga aid, despite Garithos telling him not to. Take that out of the equation and Garithos is just leading what little human forces of Lordaeron there was left, and while he didn't like the idea, he did side with Sylvanas against Balnazzar because it was in the best interest of pretty much all parties, and only asked that she take her Undead and leave. She agreed. Then she proceeded to backstab him afterwards just because. Two main Elves that he pointed out to be bad, proven to be exactly that (or just stupid in Kael's case). Around Elves, watch yourselves.

You have to understand that Draenei souls, which had long, magical lives and have been stored in Auchindon for thousands of years, probably have a lot more anima than the average soul and thus _a lot_ more fattening.

Being stored in Auchindon after death probably wouldn't increase their anima, just maintain it at the same level as they rest. Which means he didn't just gorge on massive amounts of anima, but massive amounts of *dry aged* anima. That shit's expensive, I'd probably steal as many freebies as I could too. The Jailer, on the other hand, paces himself. Sharing OP plot powers with Sylvanas, breaking the barrier between two dimensions and somehow just shutting off the judge of all souls. Plenty of workout between eating sessions and a varied diet means he probably has sick gainz.

In warcraft three it was kil'jaeden who forced ner'zhul into the helm of domination, and threw him from twisting nether aka space to northrend after he tried to flee Draenor's destruction via the portals. Xal'atath was also the shadow priest relic weapon in Legion, it just boggles my mind how many of these extremely powerful artifacts seem to just "get lost," only to be brought back with no really good explanation as to why they were lost in the first place. Xal‘atath was never lost though. Sylvanas gave it to Azshara as part of the deal they struck and Azshara gave it to Uu‘nat in return. After retrieving it and using it to open Nazjatar, Nathanos returns it to Azshara.

Like the Tidestone, artifacts should have gone into a serious museum vault (see raiders of the lost ark?) rather than just being left around for others to find. Sylvanas should never have had that dagger, just like Azshara should never have had the Tidestone.

I feel like there's more that you shouldn't know than what you should to understand modern World of Warcraft lore; the writing is constantly eating itself that knowing a lot of the older lore will leave you confused that the newer lore just doesn't work with it. For example: Kil'Jaeden bound Ner'zhul's soul to the armor of the Lich King and imprisoned him in the Icecrown Glacier while the Nathrezim forged Frostmourne and left it in Northrend for Arthas to eventually find, however now the Helm of Domination and Frostmourne was forged by the Primus under the Jailer's subjugation...

In Legion, although Khadgar has a huge presence in the beginning, other characters like Illidan, Turalyon, Maiev and Velen took the spot light.

Then at the announcement of shadowlands got super hyped and returned to Bfa just in time for Nzoth, and I had no damn clue how they got there in between. Your video is just what I needed! Sylvanas should've been left dead on the spikes of Icecrown Citadel. Maybe the last line about her should be her's description of the maw. Claws, eyes, darkness, etc. This would be nice, epic, sad, oldschool lore. With plenty of space for something new and scary to come, but whats hiding for now. She is so much connected to the Arthas in the lore, that even every one new quest about her, after the *IC jump* , only dilutes the epicness. And the last visions of the the maw would be nice echo to the last line of the Arthas: "I see ... only darkness ..." The Wrath of the Lichking is (one of the) best expansion for some focking reason. The lore, the story and proper ending of one saga! With good story building, the end of Sylvanas (and the saga of Arthas) could've been the start of the brand new and good lore chapter. But no ... This is not the Way of the Activision Blizzard. Lets milk it as much as possible. When you do not know, when to end a epic story, and *every epic story must end* , you will end up with shit like this new lore. Half of the BFA is mindlessly rolling in this shit and the whole Shadowlands will be build on/made of it ... -_-
