Hank sees Burgess in a similar fashion to Erin he wants to protect her which is why he is so damn dissapointed in her actions
@lavanderwilliams7943 жыл бұрын
@SClearS But Erin's actions wasn't a determent to the unit, the department, or the city. Just herself. Whereas what Burgess did with that girl, if she was injured or worse, would've been on the hands of the entire city of Chicago, not just the PD or Intelligence, from the Mayor down. And the fact that she sought and received the wrong advice from the personal asskisser of the person who was running for the Mayor's office, who had a major beef with Voight, and was trying to over hell and high water shut down Intelligence, left Hank with no other recourse but to let things run their course. He couldn't jeopardize the entire unit over the one who broke all of Intelligence's golden rules: "Come to me first, keep everything in house, tell me the truth, so I can lie for you". She tied Hank's hands too tightly for him to help her.
@virz44322 жыл бұрын

Love the One Chicago family and Trudy Platt holds a special place in my heart with her sarcastic zingers, pet names for some of the Intelligence officers, sage advice and "hidden" warm heart. In addition, she is FREAKING hilarious. In one episode she referred to Officer Ruzek as "rebel without a cause".😱😵😅 Hey NBC, for the Trudy fans, can you put together a montage of Trudy being sarcastic and passing out zingers like lollipops? That would be so entertaining and "spirit lifting" as we wait for the new season of One Chicago and deal with this pandemic lockdown. Thanking you in advance...💪👊

Kinda reminds me of the scenario Homicide Life on the Street's Detective Frank Pembleton experienced. A big wig in the administration James C. Harris asked Frank for a favor. When Harris didn't get the results he expected, Pembleton got fed to the wolves and Harris denied ever requesting the favor. Have a feeling Burgess is going to have a similar experience.

MiMi The BonBon It was deserve if you asked me. Jay nearly got killed and after Al I doubt Voight wants to bury another teammate. As for Burgess she brought this on herself she believed Deputy Brennan would cover for her if she lied, surprise Brennan did not, and given Burgess was pretty much in every headline praised as a ‘Hero Cop’ if this got out she lied she could have been easily been made into a department liability and if Burgess was scrutinized then so would Voight and the rest of the unit.

I thought it was interesting when Voight originally picked Atwater over Burgess to be in Intelligence. He told her he did not like office romances. Well in real life, if he was going to punish Burgess, not picking her for Intelligence, for having an office romance, then he HAD to punish Ruzek also. You can't have a romance by yourself. If Voight did that in Real life, Burgess could sue for millions and win and never have to work again.

Deputy Superintendent Brennan told Kim not to mention Kendra, her ride along, in her report to IRT. However, Brennan went back on it by pretending she said no such thing to Kim and told her she's confident she can find a way to solve the case without Kendra. Eventually, Kim went back to IRT to tell the truth, which led to this scene. Ultimately, I never liked Brennan, and this episode pretty much sums up everything I hate about her.

Ruzek needs to stop sleeping with the women of The Intelligence team. By Season 7, he has slept with Every woman on the team. Didn't he even sleep with Erin ? I am behind the times. A few months ago I started watching Chicago PD. It was season 7 when I started watching. References were made to other characters and situations so I decided to watch Chicago PD from the beginning. I am presently watching Season 7 and Rojas is on the team. So far he has not slept with her. But he Really needs to stop. True, the women let him, but it is just annoying.

Kim have to realize..being a patrol officer that have to report crimes to the district, & have to be told what assignment she have to do..?? whether she likes it or not. at times Kim be disobeying direct orders!!! just like in the episode when…??? her & Roman was on duty she seen drug-dealers go into a warehouse, checking it out, knocking on the door, a guy coming out blood coming out the back of his head & right then & there she should've called for back-up before another killer come walking towards the door..pointing a gun at Roman as the suspect take Roman into the warehouse. all that time..Kim still had a chance calling for back-up. but Noooooo she wants to be a super-woman that trying to save Roma that could've gotten herself & Roman killed.
