15:00 honestly, unless they had like a specific rule in place already that expressly states a shot like that doesn't count, they should frankly count it, especially if it's super divisive like it's sounding/ multiple people with no invested interest are insisting it should count.... It frankly only causes trouble doubling down on not counting it like this, ngl (and even if it is expressly stated..... Idk. Doesn't feel worth holding their ground on an arbitrary, unfun rule. Makes a difference to me if they didn't bring it up in any way beforehand not counting, tho.)

As someone who hasn't watched the twitch rivals stuff, if a sphere is thrown before the timer, it should count if it catches the pal. Otherwise, u don't add suspense. Once u hit a 3 secs left, the capture wouldn't matter. There's no last second turn around. What's the point of the last few seconds of the match if a last second sphere/capture wouldn't matter? Football has hail maries. Basketball let's it go as long as the ball is up before the buzzer. U need suspense if u want ratings

Sure with the ratings, but I wholeheartedly agree with the rest of what you said; there'd be no point in trying in the last few moments of anything, if you decided not to count anything past the buzzer no exceptions... It's just dumb. Rules wise, still brain dead to not consider exceptions like this whole "controversy", but if they made a point to enforce the rule before all this.... I'm still of two minds about it, but again ultimately with platty on this one. It's a dumb rule to have in the first place, but if they were clear about it beforehand... That's a hard one to get them to change, unless they were vague/unclear about it, or it was in some sort of fine print scenario (in that case... I'd say it's bendable/changeable. But if the judges are being hard-asses because of a previous precident over it, that's unlikely to change.) Ultimately, it's just dumb and a divisive hill to die on, from the judges here. Drains out all the fun as well, but there is just little reason to hold steadfast onto some unspoken rule, and its borderline biased/pig headed to hold onto a split second decision about such instances, that they made right then and there with this. Idk if it was a rule or not, but just to break down the logic on all that: it tells everyone else that the judge(s) only care about their way of seeing things, fun competition be damned. In that sense, it can only hurt their whole Lil..... Twitch rivals thing, to be a dick about all this, it's just bad press at that point. Ain't nobody standing with some arbitrary rule made up on the spot, when they hear about some gossip on all this. Obviously lol. the judges have an uphill battle if it's some nothing split second rule they made up with all this, it's honestly in a Grey area if it was just a quietly implied/fine print rule, *but* unlikely to change if they had made a point to express this rule *before* platty/others participated in all of this, my 2 cents with this. The reasoning behind counting it or not.... Is whatever, rly, to me. what's going to matter is if the event/competition(?) itself gets buried because of unfair rulings.
