I personally think that Ja is doing this as a cry for help. I can only imagine what these players go through, having to grind so hard as a child to a point where you barely got to experience a normal childhood because of your gift, to grow up as a young adult with millions in your hands and the opportunity to change yours and your family’s life forever. That holds so many blessings and pressure all at the same time, and these players struggle dealing with it. Ja has been going through a lot lately. His comment about being fine in the West, put a huge torch on him. His team has been subpar to say the least. Shannon sharp and other powerful voices have certainly shared their opinion. He’s going through legal issues, and his family and friends are accused of being violent with another team. I know it all could’ve been prevented, but now that we’re here, It makes that he’s clearly stressed out because of those situations, and that has lead to him making poor and regretful decisions. I hope he gets the help that he needs and heal from this situation.

@@spenser6353 never said he grew up hard, to insinuate he had a hard life or anything like that. It’s simple. It’s black culture. Ever since eazy-e came up it’s been cool to bang in Compton and other ghettos, it’s a sign of toughness these guys want. Respect. I mean look what happened to Andy reids two sons, gosh I feel bad for that man. Slapping women around selling drugs. It’s a lifestyle. It doesn’t matter where you are from, there are killers everywhere. Look man Memphis doesn’t play. I think it’s the 3rd most dangerous city in America. Morant will get a clip emptied into him for his chain and looking at somebody wrong and they won’t give it a second thought if he isn’t careful. He needs to understand and memorize what the word jealousy means. Pulling up in Bentleys and 100k chains. He better watch out man. People are acting like oh poor morant. He will get replaced in a second in the nba and will be forgotten like Aaron Hernandez. You could just tell with Aaron though, that dude was raw and real. Hung himself with his bedsheet. Ja doesn’t have a mature man in his corner. His father is at the games acting like he’s a celebrity. Ja plays in Memphis which is a city known for gangs and inner city violence. Ja needs to re-examine life and step away from basketball right now.
