This proverb 14:12 is extremely revealing to me. Religions seem right in the eyes of the people who practice them but they are only enchantments of the devil to seduce souls, lacking the knowledge of the ultimate will of God. The Bible says: He who says, I know Him (GOD), and does not obey His commandments is a liar (1 John 2:3-4). Only those who love God will enter the kingdom. To believe that we love GOD without obeying Him is to deceive ourselves. Jesus said: (John 14:15) If you love Me, keep My commandments. Note: Jesus did not say: If you love Me, obey only the commandments that suit you or your religion only ! (Math. 7:21) Not every one that knows unto Me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeseth the will of My Father which is in heaven. God has not changed and remains eternally the same in what He seeks from man: (Deuteronomy 30:13) In that I command thee this day to love the LORD thy God, to walk in His ways, and to keep His commandments ...
