I like the idea of High Evolutionary having "On Reveal: +1 power to all of them (wherever they are)" or something. Unfortunately I don't think there's room for that text on the card, according to Second Dinner's aesthetic preferences. Maybe now that Lockjaw has been nerfed to cost 4, Evolved Wasp could go back to stinging two cards. Then maybe we'd see an Evo Pixie deck.

High Evo being at least a little better would be great. With Prof X weaker, enough ways around lockdown strategies with Nocturne, and Red Hulk as a card you can tech in against it, this feels like a great time to buff High Evo.

Discard is still a very good deck (Rank 33 infinite with it right now). RG hurts, but any deck that also runs White widow is easy to deal with, and you sometimes just have so many scalers that RG doesnt do enough. Also people underestimate the raw power of Swarm/Proxima on board.

Damn that's high. The highest I have gone is the top 3k, and I am currently sitting at 10k. Any tips?

@@KARTAVYAPANDEY-ez8ri Personally i found that the best list is runs Collector Corvous and Helicarrier. Having another 2 with the possibility of going huge is important against RG. And Helicarrier has really good cube equity cause sometimes you will get the perfect card. Outside of that just general good snaps and retreats is important just like any other deck while climbing.

@@mechashadow That probably means Red Guardian. This card can counter Dracula, Morbius and Miek, making it very strong against discard decks

Agree! I'm working on a full ink/gold discard deck so I'm playing it daily for boosters and people are not respecting just how much power you can bring. Red guardian is the only annoying card but you can spread power so well with discard

I still enjoy discard and play Morbius Drac specifically. Even if I run into red guardian corvus and proxima is enough power most of the time.

I think all the High Evo cards could probably benefit from an extra power with or without High Evo in the deck. 1/3 Misty, 2/4 Shocker, and 3/5 Cyclops with no abilities are still meh because of power creep.

I used to run Kang in my move deck, where the game plan was to play it on 6 as recon and then try and fake out my opponent as to where I’ll move or play. It was really fun and very satisfying to pull off, and some of my biggest WTF! wins were with that deck. Ultimately though, it still felt like the 13th card so I ended up cutting it, but overall I still had a good… TIME… with Kang 😂 sorry that was dumb 😅 All that being said, I wouldn’t mind a rework to Kang. I’ve got that dope Kael Ngu spotlight variant and it’d look real good inked 😊

We need more cards like Meh-kkhari so we can finally save for some spotlight keys….we really need a break after way to many good 5 series cards. SD def did that on purpose so everyone would exhaust their spotlights and steering them into the crazy expensive and no value bundles

So long as there’s increment you can live on when the clock runs down. I never want a player to have less than, say, 15 seconds per turn, or 25, or whatever it has to be.

do you think Makkari would be better if they added text to her that considered her "Played" for the sake of other cards? this way if she landed on Angela she would buff her, she would count as played for Sassquatch, etc... its a small idea for a buff but one that might help her feel like a 4.5 power instead of a 4 or a 5.

They got my ass with the captain marvel avatar/variant a few months ago with her 😂. Thing is the variant in that album was the 3rd slot unlike the peach Thanos. I think they learned their lesson then.

High Evo could revert back hulk to increase its power in the deck. Or add evolved lockjaw to be 3 cost.

Yeah there a few cards that have been left behind like High Evo and War Machine. But I’m afraid their stats aren’t bad enough to be blessed with a buff. Like I’m not sure how bad stats need to be before a card gets love.

I’ve played a LOT of Kang, learning all the tricks. I don’t think they should change Kang in any other way until they use the balance levers already there: reduce his cost and increase his power. I’m actually shocked they haven’t done this yet. The lower Kang’s cost the greater the chance he can be used either as an opportunity to scout a snap condition or become a free draw (or both). Essentially he becomes more like old America Chavez with free intel added on, some % of the time. He can also be used to scout RNG with another play on the same turn (ex: Nico’s location change). The higher his power, the better he is with and against Cosmo. In any case, if they make him more popular, they should speed up his animation.

The "How do you beat X?" topics are weird to me. They are all about deck selectioj and nothing on strategy. I get it's a half disguised meta discussion. But you can't control you opponents, so pkaying Y to beet X is just discussing what you hate lising to most. Could these discusdions ever included in match strategy talk? Aling lined "Look for the lane they play N card and put what disruption you have there." "They need to crowd a lane so throw that lane and focus on winning the other two." Or even, "If you are playing this deck or style of deck you are so disavantaged you should never stay in after a snap."

There is only one way to make High Evolutionary relevant... you have to get rid of or nerf Luke Cage again. Yes, I would love for him to be a 4/7 as he was datamined. But all the other cards are pretty much still not good if Luke Cage is everywhere. Which is inevitable when High Evo gets popular again. Also, hot take, I think Red Guardian needs to be a 4 cost card. I'd say 4/3 just like Shang Chi. He does too much for a 3 cost card.
