Nice review! But quite a bummer having that sword broke. I didn't heat mine and did manage to put it on.... but it scrapped the heck out of the inside part of the hand. The handle is probably fixable by pinning. Drill both ends (w/ micro pin vise) of where it broke off and add a metal pin, such as a paperclip. The shield handle is actually better open on one end... made it easier to put the hand on it. I actually prefer if they just mold the hand onto the handle and have that thing swappable with another blank handle. Sadly, PAK looks horrible upclose.... but afar it's great.

The figure has her sword mounted on her hip. From what I can recall, she only mounted it on her back, talk about movie accuracy right? Also, I don't mind the figure but that price point is just to high IMO. I'll probably pick it up if it's dirt cheap. Question, will you be reviewing the Nightwing Play arts kai from Batman A.knight? Btw great review :D

She looks good in the poses you have her at the end and what's done well is great, but what's bad, is really bad and that's too bad. That sucks about the sword. Exceptional review!

Watching these 3 reviews has been a painful experience, but your advice to stay away from this line should be well heeded. And I'm surprised you didn't have a problem with her proportions. They look very out to me, but maybe in-hand it's not so obvious. Keep on rockin, Skullface.

Great review!!! I'm sorry you had such problems with her. I think she's the best of the bunch but still definitely not worth the money. I'm glad I waited. It's a real shame because I wanted to love her.

Man, you exit line sounded so disappointed :( That sucks to go from great to OK to bad, especially with breaking the sword. I agree...too pale and those molded skirt pieces on the thigh is just a bad idea, ruins the sculpt.

This is extremely disappointing. I thought these might be my first Play Arts Kai figures, because the marketing images when they were announced were outstanding... then pale Superman came out, and I lost some interest. But my hopes were still up for Wonder Woman because she looked SO good. To she her now, pale, with poor paint and accessories, I can't do it. I was really hoping these would be better 'cause I was so ready to fork money over for all three.

I don't get the appeal of Play Arts Kai. I got a good deal on a Faora from Man Of Steel so I went for it; figured I've already dabbled with ThreeZero and Hot Toys, so why not get a first hand experience on PAK? Instant fucking regret. Awful joints, awful paint job everywhere, zero likeness to the actress who played the character, and from just 10 minutes of trying out different poses, the paint started to scrape off near the joints, especially in the torso area. Articulation is fairly decent, but putting the figure in anything other than a standing pose just produces these atrocious, massive and unsightly gaps. Just who exactly is this line of merchandise aimed for? It's nowhere near collector quality, yet they sell for hundreds of dollars, even stepping into Hot Toys territory with some of their more recent releases. In any case, that was my first and last PAK purchase. I went around and watched some videos of other figures from the company to hear opinions on them, and pretty much everyone I watched shared my sentiments. I'm sincerely asking here, what is the appeal of PAKs?

when theryre on theyre all the way on. hand painted and often done to the nine (check out the deadpool one) often highly articulated and beautifully sculpted (check out hawkman)

Aw man I feel for ya, watching that was tough. Bad enough when a figure is lackluster but breaking accessories cos they've made it impossible to get them on the hands is just not acceptable, not at $150. Paint all over the place and the finish on the skin was nothing, on camera it looked like cheap bare plastic, not good. Hope they at least sort that sword out for you man.

Detailed figures are pricey. It sucks to fork out over a $100 for these things but you really have to think about if you really want it for the detailed quality. I sucks but that's the toy market.
