@@Mukduck619 It is new for hero shooters lol. And the skins aren't shitty recolors like in overwatch, they're obscure comic references. There's a whole ass comic run you can read where Reed Richards slowly becomes evil and then eventually becomes The Maker. It is cool to see more representation from comics we read long ago. These skins have actual emotional attachment to them for many people, and the content is releasing extremely quickly compared to any other game with unique characters. Four new characters added throughout alpha and beta testing, like eight additional new characters on release, four additional characters in season 1, with tons of skins that respect their comic origins. Like, 16 new characters within the first two months of release is absolutely insane. Especially since all of them are faithful to their source material, and can be good if played well enough.

@@FantasticChris99 He was the Reed Richards from the Ultimate universe, basically an imprint that served as an alternative to rebooting the main books since Marvel doesn't do reboots, his life was terrible as was typically the case in the Ultimate universe and eventually he broke. He's a menace for sure trying to reshape realities hence the name Maker and has encountered the main Marvel universe in particular the main Reed and they had issues even to the point of Reed point blank saying he'd erase him if given the chance after all he's done. Right now the new Ultimate universe is the result of him messing with that world's history severly erasing or preventing many heroes from happening and even ended America becoming one of the heads of the nation that took its place.
