I would have brought tickets just for a code, but it seems they don't want us doing that for some reason (even tho they are getting money up front for tickets) Pretty disappointing if the devs are going to start locking content behind national borders etc.

Because the entire point is that you’re spending money on the movie. Look at it this way, you purchase the ticket, you collect the code before it’s scanned and redeem it and then you refund the ticket. That would happen massively if they did it that way. I agree sucks it’s limited to the Us they def should have cross promoted it to other chains people had access to as well where there aren’t Regal’s but I get the point of the ticket redemption.

@@dragonflarexd2866 All you need is a scarlet on your team. Fly up in the air and put a trap below or a little bit below you as you float. Scarlet also counters Magik and Iron Fist, you just gotta maneuver around lol. He is just fast and most don’t have their sensitivity up to catch him.

@@jyrlan2596uh…that’s the point of the promo: getting people to see the movie. Those who planned on seeing it aren’t the target, it’s those were on the fence but want the skin and are impatient. Also, it’s not “locked behind a border barrier”. Regal is sponsoring this, it’s contractual. They’re not going to give a piece of the pie to competitors, who may not have even wanted to do a game event to begin with. And as another user said: coordinating with dozens of other theater companies across the world…too much work for far too little ‘immediate’ gain. They’ll get the world’s money once it’s in the shop.

@@aooide true. I looked up if there were any regal theaters in Ohio but they were either 1-2 hours away from where I live. One was 3 hours away, I just think it’s outrageous to travel 2 hours to go to the theater to watch captain America brave new world and then drive two hours back. Waste of time and gas. If only they did this with other theater organizations like fandango instead of regal, not only would it be easier to find a fandango theater but it would possibly grant people a lot more access to this bundle.

Kind of saddened about the Regal thing. There isn't a regal theater in my city so I would essentially have to travel out of town to verify the code.
