I drove from Sacramento to LA for 11 years and listen to the games on knbr...it is true that the announcers made me a fan of the San Francisco Giants. It is amazing, that even in LA I could get knbr, I’d loose it a little going over the Grapevine, but pick it back up, going into LA. So I listen to these guys why driving an 18 wheeler up and down I-5, 3 trips a week for 11 years. Thanks guys for keeping me awake and entertained.

In spring of ‘21, found out he’s 69 years old. Back in the mid 90s, I thought he was in his late 60s... was the oldest looking 40-something in history. Even at 22, he looked at least 45 from the A’s photo he flashed in this video at 7:00. He does an amazing Vin Scully impersonation, though

I use to listen to Hank Greenwald all throughout the '80s. To me he is the voice of them. But by now, thanks to our four hof broadcasters, I barely miss him. But he was great in his time.

I remember back in the 70/80!s hearing Hank Greenwald,i knew summer was starting.He was a great play by play announcer during his time.So are the four Emigos. I enjoy watching behind the scenes of the Giants. Lets hope they get a wild card for these season. Lets Go Giants.⚾
