Normally a mistake you see is that people bring out their light squared bishop to pin king side knight to the queen early on and then trading it. You both lose tempo in trading a developed piece and lose an attacking possibility later on in the game.

The trick with knights is knight moves to squares that is opposite colour they are on. Let's say your knight is on white square, it can only move to black squares around it. Hope this will help you❤️❤️❤️

Actually, the "without pieces, with board" scenario happens regularly for Super GMs in at least one key tournament every year. When they play "blindfold", the aesthetic usually presented is an empty board. Hence, your #3 and #4 are actually the same thing, except #3 is the fancy presentation style at tournaments like the blindfold Amber chess tournament.

I read once about a guy describing two people in his highschool. They would randomly say moves in a day whenever they met.
